Monday, May 20 View Page Nice secondary is taking over as the main. Hard to tell that the nub used to be the main. Thursday, July 25 View Page 1320 Faskell--I had given up on this pumpkin. I went on vacation and left the sprinklers going on a timer. There was also a hard rain while I was gone. The shoulder of the pumpkin put pressure on the upstream side of the vine. When I returned the vine was split length ways at the stem. I cut the upstream vine off, but figured my season was over. After a couple of weeks I went out to cut the pumpkin off and pull the vines when I noticed that the pumpkin was still growing. This pumpkin gained another 300 lbs before it quit growing 6 days ago. Today was my first off day so I picked it, had a backhoe lift it and had it weighed. Thursday, July 25 View Page 1320 sitting on the scale. Scale was Zeroed with the pad on it.
