After a few days in the patch and the 1350 starr is not looking so good. The stem looks like it has rotted, not sure what caused this as none of the other plants have this and are in the same conditions.if anyone has any ideas what caused this please e-mail me.([email protected])thanks. Another 1350 was started earlier in the week when this happened and should be outside in a few days.

1156 hunt not doing very well so far, the cots came up deformed and after 2 weeks there is still no sign of a true leaf forming, a 1378 Pitura was started as a backup in case this one does not make it.

1102 Pukos not doing so great either, it came up with only one cot leaf and the true leaf is very small, the rest of the leaves don't look to big either. The second 1102 will take its place it looks allot better.

Here is a picture of the patch before getting tilled, only half of the patch was tilled due to only that part being dry. it is still not dry enough for the other half to be tilled to i may have to cover part of it and let just the planting site dry up and till around later. This might be the last year in this patch, Im thinking of converting the manure pit from the barn manure into a patch, we no longer have cows so it is not needed.. this will have much more sunlight than the patch does right now
