So this year I have laid woven filter fabric down which is very strong and will cut down on weeds with a hole cut out for the plant.
Installed 4 wooden stakes and screwed 1/2" PVC to the top and this will support plant. When its time to harvest I can cut the cloth from stakes to outside of material and pull cabbage right out. Should work just fine!

Here is my fruit off the 1002 Jarvis, it will hopefully be around 700 lbs and I'll take it considering I did next to no work on these this year as I had no energy for it. Love the shape

This is the fruit off the 1037 Jarvis x 1002 Jarvis, its tall and wide but not to deep it is going to the local Foodland this week through Thanksgiving weekend. Pays well so I make sure they get one each year,
