every morning, I wake up and the sheets covering my pumpkins are on the ground. I can't figure out why, but I have a guess.
Twenty to fifty percent of hypothermal deaths are associated with a phenomenon known as paradoxical undressing. This typically occurs during moderate to severe hypothermia, as the victim becomes disoriented, confused, and combative. The hypothermic victim may begin discarding their clothing, which, in turn, increases the rate of heat loss.

Well, I'm all out of Super Turbo Fruit Finisher Fertilizer, and the local garden store is all out too.
Looks like I may have to take a trip down to Jared's nursery. They have some in stock. They said they have some giant pumpkins growing at the nursery too. I make take a look.
I bet the guys who grow pumpkins at Jareds use a lot of the Super Turbo Fruit Finisher Fertilizer.

Well, I went down to that nursery tonight and met up with Madman Marc and his nephew. We were all going to get some of that Super Turbo Fruit Finisher Fertilizer but they said some guy named Jim had already bought it all. Oh well. We did check out the patch down there too...

Some guy named Loren showed us around becuase no one was working in the patch. I don't know how you couldn't be working out in the patch if you had a good one going, but who knows. Here is a pic that Loren took of us with a big white pumpkin that was labeled with a sign and an American flag. Pretty nice pumpkin, I must say.

Biz, I couldn't tell what your pumpkin looked like in that picture that you posted cause it had a sheet over it! I had to go back down to Jared's tonight and take a look. When I got there, the guy with the grey hair and the chains took all the sheets off the pumpkins so I could have a look. Brooks was down there too. He was going to give you his last 1068, but you weren't around. Oh well.

Well, Biz. I'm pretty sure you got me beat by a few pounds right now, so I made some modifications tonight.
Welcome to the "ICEHOUSE 2". It's now heated at night. Certainly wouldn't want the temperature to drop into the 50s and have growth slow down. What's the low at Jared's tonight?

well Biz, I spent an hour in the patch tonight:
5 minutes to cover the pumpkins
5 minutes to spray 0-0-6
50 minutes to walk through my 1055 Jutras plant (by headlamp) looking for the tip to my spayer that fell off somewhere.
If that's not a model for perfect efficiency, then I don't know what is.

ICEHOUSE 2 was repaired tonight. This was the source of the problem. The wind reduced a 5-way PVC fitting to a three-and-a-half-way PVC fitting, which compromised the entire structure.
