Here is a big old ringneck pheasant that frequents the bird feeder. He has noticed his reflection in the kitchen window door recently and is determined to protect his territory.

Chardonnay has 2 893 Wittenbergs in a pot...looks to be a beautiful orange cross. 1500 is looking a little iffy. Wish I had a back up for that one. 231 and 818 Engel are chugging along all will go out in the field this weekend.

Something has eaten Chardonnay's 1500 Rivier of at the base of the stem. Which is really odd because its in the house in a 10 gallon pot. I will have to throw something else in for her. Maybe the 2 1044.4 privetera's will grow

Time to break out the chemicals..Chardonnay was catching cucumber beetles for her gecko to eat last night. I told her he would starve if he was out in the patch. She proved me wrong. Getting old my eye sight must be slipping.

Everything is a week or more behind. We had some huge wind gusts that flopped everyone around a bit. Need to staple them down tonight. Sprayed for Cuke beetles and gave the final application of merit to the field pumpkins.

Wow I have healthy looking plants very little fruit. Have some 10 day old fruit that should be kicking in. The sad thing is my Cinderella x AG crosses are producing some monsters(100lbs). I hope I don't end up at a weigh off with one of those being my biggest fruit. At least the Howard Dill award will be mine...all mine muu haa haa
