Overview of patch 28’ x 85’ facing north. This patch has a northeasterly slope. Shows four hutches closed up for the night. Using 1 ½” flat roof insulation board. Hutch closest to camera is a 1387 Connolly 07 Est. The second hutch is a 968.4 Rodonis 04. The third hutch is a 1068 Papez 07 and the last hutch is 1223.5 Noel 07. The last hutch contains my fair plant and originally was planned for the 1470 Wallance however, the seed rotted for reasons unknown. So the back up plant 1223.5 was used.

This shows how the hutch is made with 2 ventilation windows at the top with an entrance door at each end. They all have a moveable partition that is moved back as the plant grows. Also shows insulation board in the ground around the hutch and are made from 8’ 4” window sash. Each hutch contains a small electric heater, which maintains the hutch temperature of 85 degrees. The hutch has the 968.4 Rodonis 04.

Note we are trying to save on gasoline and only mow the lawn every two weeks, by the end of the second week it starts to get a littie unsightly, but makes a lot of clippings for the garden.
