Saturday, September 26 View Page After 25 seasons of growing giants in both Canada (starting in the late 80s) and the Netherlands and 17 years of organizing the Dutch Giant Vegetable Championship I have decided to retire. Due to health issues (including Long COVID) I can no longer grow at a competitive level. Since 2007 I have been privileged to grow 2 world records (squash and marrow), 5 European records and more than 20 national records. Today was the last Dutch Giant Vegetable Championship.
