Crossed with Ricky's 1258 Holder. If this one, or another makes it, should be nice orange, with tendency for heavy, if the offspring follows the parents. Update tomorrow, and tomorrow another pollination hopefully, this time on the main vine. Sunday, July 18 View Page Fourth, yet first main vine pollination of the season. 564.4 Holder x 1258 Holder...8:30 pollination, my latest ever, as mine have always fell during the week, when I have to be at work at 7:00. I cut of the first pollination today, because the second outgrew it already. I think the second one may be set. Sunday, July 25 View Page I have culled the 1st, 3rd, and 4th fruit that were pollinated. I have decided to keep the 2nd one, and it is on a side vine. Today would be 10 days old, and the measurement is 31.75". I am happy with that number, as the plant isn't as big as I have had in the past, and it is on a side vine. The heat here is awful. We are 95+ here, as we have been for at least a week. We do have possible rain coming though this week. Monday, July 26 View Page Went back down to our land today, that's where I'm growing, to feed fish fert. foliar. While there, I measured to make sure this one is hooked. Today is day 11, and the measurement is 36.50" circ. That is a gain of almost 5". I am satisfied with that. Will post pic soon. A little behind, but we haven't had sunlight in 3 days. Imagine that, all this time with no rain, and now no sunlight. The 5 day forcast is looking better though. Tuesday, August 3 View Page Here is the fruit on my 564.4 Holder...it is measuring 64.5" circ. today. I think it is day 19. Should be bigger, but we haven't seen sunlight until today, so hoping for better numbers later in the week. Applied 18-18-18 today, water soluable. Thursday, August 5 View Page Day 21...70" circ.
