Guess I should start my diary. I started my seed on April 25, all were up by the 27th and planted in my gallon pots. The only thing is the cots on my plants are not unfurling. I have never seen this before. I hope it wont cause any problems. We have lots of rain, so hopefully I can get my plants in ground this week sometime. Will post pics of patch soon.

This is what happened on May 1st. I was counting on the bluebirds to eat some bugs for me in my garden. Needless to say, the black snake is now in a better place.

Patch is ready, just waiting for a little dry time. I just put the hoop houses back up to hopefully dry the soil up some.

My tomatoes look horrible, the plants on the right were purchased, the ones on the left are the ones I grew. What can I do to green them up. Why are the veins so pronounced purplely..??? Hope someone reads this and gives me some advise. Ive never had this happen before.

And the 1102 Pukos. I also tried to germinate the 941.5 Van Hook but it was a no go. I also have a 644 Fraley being grown by a neighbor. Im growing the 907 Van Hook for back up. Grew the 907 last year and it had no female flowers only male and weird stamens. Gonna give it another try.
The watermelon germinated and is in the pot and peeking out of the soil, yep the 251 Mudd, also the 183 Brinkley is going in also.

Well, those dang birds did a number on my pollinated female. At least I think it was a bird who pecked at my female?? What do you think. It was heartbreaking but there is another female on the way.
