It has been an eventful week in the patch with a casuality of the 1622 young plant just not setting any fruit. I pulled the plant today. The squash aborted all the closed pollenations leaving one open pollenation. Onto th the pictures

The 1520 Sperry is gone with a blossom end split, that leaves only 3 pumpkins in the patch. I believe the marrow plants have gummy stem blight which took out one of the field pumpkins. I sprayed down the patch hopefully to slow the progression of the disease.

The patch is wet from Irene but the remaining plant is Ok. Locally there is little damage alot of washed out roads and bridges in neighboring towns.
