So , Here i start my diary; I have got my mycor------kelp----fish-- bone meal--kelp meal---greensand-- chicken manure--- gypsum & a few other things . Today i put approx 4000 sardeens into soil, it made 250 finished gallons. I will be growing the 1605 Sweet (1303 x 1161) , and 1219 Glasier (1421x 1161) , That will make a nice cross !!

The keeper plants are 1476 Bryson, & the 1219 Glasier , They look good at 10 ft today , I can see possible keeper ,but may take next pumpkin after ?

O i forgot to mention that they are a bit smaller than usual ,as we have had cold month of april & 1/2 of june , But for the first time not a single burnt leaf yet !!

The 1219 Glasier is also looking good ,a little more wilt but not to bad & its in hotter patch on a hill, will be ready to pollination as well in maybe 6 days but at 10 ft out,, I haven't grown in this patch for 3 yrs because of diseases , hopefully it will make it , o ya did my companion & actinovate yesterday ,, This plant has room to get huge !!

This is 1476 Bryson, looks good , very little wilt in 95* weather ,, There is room on sides for secondary's to get long ,

Update! the above pumpkins did not take ,So on the 1219 i pollinated one at 13.5 ft out ,on 07/11/11, It has 5 lobes, It looks great so far ! Then the 1476 has one pollinated at 17 ft out on 07/13/11,It is 5 lobber too , & it too looks great ! They were crossed with each-other !

This is 1219, looking good so far at day 24 in this pic , Plant is huge like maybe 800-900 sq ft , some of the last secondarys were still growing good but i terminated them today they are over 20 ft out ! Main is still going good , not sure how long but probably 20 ft past pumpkin ,, While working on plant today i almost stepped on a rattle snake ,most times i have seen them they don't rattle ! it was 41 inchs & fat !

Here is my pumpkin coming down on the pumpkin sled , 65 ft to the bottom , It got bit by ground squirrels, & has been off the vine for over a month it measures 161--93--86 ott =340 or 805 lbs , but real weight of 915 lbs, & that's off the vine for over a month with lots of bits to perspire , must have been over 950 ???
