Monday, May 5 View Page 10 for 10 seeds have sprouted. First time I have had 100% germination. I guess all the reading I have done on Big Pumpkins is starting to pay off. Here they are at 5 days old. Tuesday, May 20 View Page Started building Fort Pumpkin fence today. Have the 1521.5 Razo and the 1450 Wallace planted in the patch right now. Tuesday, May 20 View Page Also today I got the steel primed and painted for my flag pole. Did the cement work last week. Hope to have my 70 year old wooden pole up by Memorial Day. Wednesday, May 21 View Page Found out today that Howard Dill passed away last night. This is a picture I took of the title page of the book "The Pumpkin King" Howard was kind enough to autograph, personalize, and date for me. God Bless Howard!! Monday, May 26 View Page Not much going on in the patch. Strange Memorial weekend weather. Cool in the 60's with sprinkles and rain. Had almost an inch on Saturday.
