This one is going on three days old now. It has a nice looking plant so far with plenty of side runners. I'm not sure what it is because I found the pumpkin on the side of the road two years ago and saved the seeds. We grew a nice size last year from the same seed. Fingers crossed in hope that I can beat my last years record with the same seed.

This is our white germin sheperd. His name is thunderheart, and he has kept groundhogs, and rabbits from attacking my garden. He's getting old and can hardly use his back leggs. It's going to be sad when he goes.

It's been cool the last few days, but this atlantic giant doesn't seem to mind too much. As you can see the skin has a gloss to it. I been covering the main in front of the pumpkin and in hope for more side runners to come later on.

This is part of my watering seystem. I been using air valves from fish tanks as drippers to feed water and food to my vines. I use about six or seven per plant so I have about "25" drippers in all I think? I have two "40" gallon tanks I fill every three days filled with plant food. One heck of a plumbing seystem huh.

I think this one is going to beat last years pumpkins also. The bottom is stretching out more for new growth! Wow! I didn't think this one was going to even get this big. Last year it was a flop. The vine hooked to this thing is small, but it still seems to be holding the load.

We pulled my pumpkins today and took them to the front yard and while we were setting them down a baby squiel came up to us as if nothing happened. My son lets him pick him up with no problem and he eats out of your hand and lets you pet him. I never seen anything like this in my life.
