Planted 828 Dill and 1038 Simpson. The 1038 is cot challenged. Only half the cot fully developed. Significant difference in new soil warming cables from Hollandsgiants over lower quality cables I have used.

I got the 1038 to grow eventually in a 2 gal. pot. I gave it to a local non profit for educational purposes in late May. I stopped by last week. With little care, no fertilizer or insect and disease prevention, the plant is in remarkable condition with no sign of insect or disease. (the site is 100% organic) Did some pruning and culling last night. I left 3 pumpkins on. I culled one right next to this one of equal size. This one had the best position on the vine. It's on a side vine.
