well I thought the 451.8* Wolf was gonna go but no luck with it. The 730 Stellpflug, 642 Snow and the Beachy 730 Stellpflug crosses are also a no go. I have 1 - 469 Beachy that may make it. I started 6 more Beachy 730 crossses today, my last ones. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

While touring the patch this evening I found a turtle burying her eggs right next to my cucumber and squash plants. She wasn't too happy about me removing her from the patch. There must have been 25-30 eggs in the ground about 1 ft deep. I believe she was heavy to the charts by the way she felt while I was removing her.

Man what a great season. I did best with my own seed and got to travel to a couple of new weighoffs. I attended the OVGPG weighoff in Canfield, OH and the Pumpkinville weighoff in Great Valley, NY. I had a great time at both weighoffs and got to see some old friends and make some new ones as well. I hope to return next year with bigger fruit.
