The wheather aint so good in Belgium this year (just like last one)so don't espect any wonders... I'm growing pumpkins whitout a greenhouse in the open air. Sunday, August 10 View Page This is the pumpkin on the 1470 Wallace it was crossed with the 1297 Ghaye. It was the only fruit on the main. Sunday, August 10 View Page This is the fruit onthe 1297 Ghaye and is crossed with the 1402 Bosworth. Ugly indeed and i will be surprized if it holds togheter untill end september. Also the only fruit on the main. I did not measured it yet but it weighes about 200 kg i guess. Sunday, August 10 View Page Fruit on the 1402 Bosworth has exploded, i removed the whole plant. Sunday, August 10 View Page Fruit on the 1081 Eaton had a stemsplit and rotted. Removed the entire plant after this. This plant was a back-up for the 1149,5 Pukos wich was a mutant. The 1470 Wallace is est. 149 kg or 328 Lbs. Also i posted the cross wrong, it is 1470 x 1402 Bosworth! Monday, August 18 View Page The fruit on the 1297 Ghaye is est. 254 kg or 560 Lbs. Hard to meassure this one because of the shape. Also posted the wrong cross here... must be: 1297 x 1207 Young! Sorry... Monday, August 18 View Page The fruit on the 1207 Young is est. 148 kg or 326 Lbs. This one was open pollinated. Wednesday, September 3 View Page The fruit on the 1297 had a pinhole that was getting really big. It was about 300 kg when i chopped it... Wednesday, September 3 View Page Same story for the 1207...Splitted at a Dill-ring 2 days ago. Was about 250 kg. Will chop it tomorrow. Life sucks... Wednesday, September 3 View Page So all that i have left is the fruit on the 1470 that is growing real slow for some time now and a young fruit on the 792*. Probably no wheiging in Duisburg for me. This was the wurst season i ever had...And this was my last entry for this season, next year i will try again!
