Error on last entry, seeds started on 4/12 at high noon.
Today the natives are more restless, the 1348, 897, 1400, 1010 Hesters, 1068 Papez, 998 Pukos, and 1041 McKie all came up with the soil moving on most of the others. Will be finishing up cloches this evening.

Well after dueling with mother frikkin nature,I have the plants all in. The soil was too waterlogged to plant in so I dug out 3 x 3 x 2 feet deep areas where the plants were going to be planted, and went and got good drier soil mix and put in the holes and even mounded up. Things are not going well in the PNW this year with high temps in the low to mid 40 the past week and rain and heavy rain every day. The final line up looks like this...
998, 1041 McKie, 1092 Martin, 227 Leland, 898 Knauss, 1450 Wallace, 1068 Papez and the 1400, 1104, 284, 1348, 897, and 1010 Hesters. I will be planting a squash later along with some experimental plants, but for competitive plants, that's the line up. I should have time this weekend for some pics.

The plants are growing well, except for a couple. May be getting some alternates in those sites. I am goint to take a few photos of the patch as there may be a serious change to one site in the near future. The 897 Hester and the 1041 McKie are leading the pack.
