Monday, June 23 View Page Pollination on 1002 Garrell ( 1068 Wallace by sib) x 1068 Wallace, at 15 feet. The plant really isnt big enough but the conditions are tough this year. If I get another fruit on the main I will try again. Im still hitting the plant hard with ferts to pick up growth. Tuesday, July 8 View Page Pumpkins are starting to go into the rapid grwth stage. My best plant is tracting 41 pounds a day. It does have a flat spot which may mean trouble as the ribs form later in the season. I will add potash today, vine borer spraying in the hot humid east.
