Tuesday, April 1 View Page Heres my first time starting my diary this year,I had to work on my rototiller yesterday, my carburater needed rebuilt, that wasnt fun to do. but I did it and it runs good now, now the next thing is changing the plug and oil and then Im going to be ready to work on my pumpkin patch and garden. I need to do alot of amendments and then give it a good till Tuesday, April 29 View Page I filed and soaked my seeds on april 24th, I placed my seeds in moist paper towels and put in ziplock bags on a low heating pad on april 25th,Some of the seeds germinated already so I have some in pots on april 29th. the seeds that I started are 537 rockwell 579 rockwell 2seeds 858 carr 2 seeds 482 conley 798 calai 613 clark 1010 teeter 765 schaffer 1123 daletas 310 sweeney I started alot of seeds because Im going to use some as back ups and a couple to give to my nephew and friends to plant.Im trying to decide which four I can plant for my self.I want to plant the 579 rockwell and the 858carr and the 613 clark and the 1010 teeter, and use some of the others for back ups and friends to plant.hard decision. Tuesday, April 29 View Page I started working on a new hoop house for my pumpkin patch today, the hoop house is eight feet wide by 12 feet long. My friend gave me this pipe to use from left over gas line he had,this pvc pipe is heavy duty.next step is to cover with plastic soon. Wednesday, April 30 View Page Heres a update on my germination and potting seeds , from left to right I have two 579 rockwell germinated in there pots and two 858 carr germinated in there pots.I have some 5inch peat pots I started to with seeds in them to the 1010 teeter two seeds germinated and the 613 clark 1123 daletas,765.5 schaffer, waiting for some more seeds to germinate to go in there pots.hoping by the weekend to have some in my hoop houses.I still have to place plastic on them first. I only had 4 ml plastic and the plastic survived and my plant are in good shape.My other plants are ok to I had hoop houses on them to, my plants are way behind from last years picture I took, the weather doesnt know what it wants to do. Im just hoping to get a pumpkin Im not going to worry about weight wright now with all these storms were having.
