Wednesday, April 30 View Page Started 3 seeds today - 729 Berard, 725 Carlson, 596 Makarchuk Friday, May 2 View Page Spring has arrived very late this year... there was snow in the patch until a few days ago. I was finally able to get into the garden to till and start building the hoophouse today. Friday, May 9 View Page The 729 Berard is up. I'm hoping to have it in the ground within the next few days... weather permitting. Tuesday, June 3 View Page Hoop-house is holding up well, despite some big windstorms. The 729 Berard is looking great.. it's almost ready to put down a vine. Wednesday, July 30 View Page Pollinated a fruit on a side vine on the 729 today. I expect 2 more to open on the main tomorrow. This is later than I wanted for pollination, but for some reason, the first females didn't show up until about 17 feet. If these fruit take, they will have a tonne of plant behind them. Thursday, July 31 View Page Pollinated 5 lobe females on the main vine this morning, and anouther 4 lober on a side vine.
