I would call this "pre-season training" for yours truly as I'm just a local farmstead hobbyists looking to create a 1k Giant as a visual attraction for our "Pumpkins for Hay for the Horses" annual event. Not looking into competitive pumpking growing - only focus is make the pumpkins that my children and I grow make other children smile.
So, out of the 50 or so pumpkins we have in our microPatch. I chose Champion to be our Champion while I'm learning the ropes from the community here as well as getting an intimate hands on day-over-day operations of Pumpkin Patch husbandry. I'll catch on to the lingo eventually.
Champion is a tiny bug in comparison to ya'lls Giants but he's the favorite of the patch he arrived as one of the first fruits. As he turns orange, it'll be exciting to see journey transpire.
