Friday, July 8 View Page # 10 Beachy 03. If you are looking for something pure from the 801 Stelts line this could be the one. This plant has surprized me for an 8 year old seed. Germination was 3 for 3 with no special treatment. Sunday, July 17 View Page My 322 plant has developed a foaming stump. ARRGGGHH I also have 2 sets. The one on the main is a bit misshaped. The one on the secondary is a perfect shape and growing much faster but the stem has a small fissure on it. I hate making these choices. This is on the # 10 Beachy 2003. It's my second backup plant. My 322 Rahe has a foaming stump and 2 pumpkin sets that have stalled. I can't get one going on the 1004 Mohr. I guess it's the hot weather. The #10 Beachy gets late afternoon shade. Normally considered a bad thing, this year it probably saved this pumpkin from aborting. Wednesday, July 27 View Page This is my off the wall project for the year. Grown on my 322 Rahe. Both are pollinated with the # 10 Beachy. Under GPC rules the pumpkins vine must be trimmed to within 1" of the pumpkin stem. So would this considered 1 pumpkin ? LOL Monday, August 1 View Page 322 Rahe. Big ugly rotten stump.
