Tuesday, September 1 View Page The gunky looking part where the hole is is where the stem attached to the vine. The bumpy white part on the left is where the stem kept tearing and healing. At some point a white fungus entered into the stem despite painting it with daconil and running a fan 24 hrs a day. Up until yesterday the stem and vine looked normal on the outside. A second outcross could produce far larger specimens.
