I finally got a chance to go fishing with Scott Marley! What an awesome day! Scott is great guide. These are just some of the fish we caught that day. I CANNOT WAIT to go bass fishing with him again!

The last pollination on the main aborted, probably due to the heat. Now I am seeing a yellowing of my leaves. Things are not looking good and I am running out of time.

Started my vacation by taking the kids fishing down at the CT River after dinner last night. We caught 3 little smallmouth bass.

We went on a nice boat ride and Matt showed us this eagles nest. Turned out both the male and female were home, so we got to see two bald eagles!

Matt took us to a spot that produced his own PB channel catfish 10 years ago! We brought all kinds of bait including nightcrawlers, shrimp and mackerel. It was not long and the bite was on!!

We caught a wide variety of fish even though we were targeting catfish. This is a small striper Nicholas caught. Notice the damage on the top of the fish. Apparently this fish is an honorary catfish as he appears to have nine lives. We released him so he could grow bigger.

It was strange but we were catching lots of smallmouth bass on shrimp too! Christopher caught this nice one.

I even caught one. All together we caught 12 catfish, 9 smallmouth bass, 1 striper, 1 black crappie and 1 rock bass. Thanks again Matt! We all had a great time.
