In the beginning... Team-Pumpkin members have been searching far and wide to locate the perfect logo to represent the Team. Like successful pumpkin growers everywhere we are a persistent group and hope to find a logo one day. Early on we found our banner which like any good companion follows us everywhere, and what follows in this diary are some highlights of our search. We also encourage you to take a picture with our banner if you participate in the search or find other Team members on the same quest.

Early on (2007) the thought was that our Logo was unique and therefore would be found in an unlikely place especially since we didn't spot it in the obvious locations. Here we see Matt breaking new ground so to speak, looking for the Logo. Where else but in the Connecticut River.

Leaving no patch unsearched here we see some of the worlds top orange growers all in on place. George and Becky did their part to aid in the search but so far have had the same result as everyone else.

We know our Logo narrowly escaped at Marshfield Fair and its out there somewhere so we decided to look at the New york Botanical gardens. The law was brought in to cuff the Logo if it was found so it would not escape. Gene helps hold the banner, while Matt confirms, it was not inside the 1725 Sweet. Seeds were there but no Logo.

Our Logo has proven to be able to evade us so far. If a state record wasn't enough to coax it out of hiding how about a world record pumpkin? Surly that would be enough to draw it in. So here is Team-Pumpkin (Chris, Matt and Gene) back at the New York Botanical Gardens to harvest seeds from another world record pumpkin and hopefully snare our Logo.
