Hoophouse has been up for three weeks now. Soil temps without heating cables are at 65-70 degrees. Plants were set out on April 22. Wednesday, May 2 View Page A pic of the 1544 Revier Thursday, July 26 View Page Here is a shot of the pumpkin on the 1350 Wallace plant at Day 30. OTT is 285. It gained 77 inches of OTT since Day 20. Saturday, July 28 View Page Sorry to say that the 1544 Revier plant went down to some wierd issue. Plant was pulled about 3 weeks ago. Sunday, August 5 View Page Day 40. Daily gains have slowed down a bit. I haven't been able to water as much as I wanted to because of a nasty stem split that appeared around day 34. The split has been treated with captan and sulfur. Looks like it's healing well. Keeping the stem as dry as possible. OTT is now at 324". Only a 39" gain for days 30-40 but I will take it considering the split. Tuesday, August 14 View Page Day 48 and I could see this one coming now for a couple days. Pumpkin started to develop a sag line around day 40. Sag line split in two spots. Final OTT 345.
