Friday, August 9 View Page With the weather like it has been the kins just dont want to grow....so i figured i would try and help them out AS MUCH AS I COULD....if ya know what i mean....so i mixed up the sprayer with my bull juice and then thought why am i doing this when i have this big tank and a fancy water pump... so in she went.... so then after watching the tank empty at a very high rate i thought man that was a real nice drench and it made my yard smell GREAT as well.. so when i was picking up my maze of empty bottles and jugs.. i seen 2 odd jugs in the shadows... oh no i did it again... yes i did it again... white 2.5 gallon jugs sure look alot alike at 11pm...... Tuesday, August 13 View Page patch update.... mega bull juice drench has been known to cause rapid growth and sometimes blossom end splits happen. so use caution when trying to do what i do....lol.. well any how she was day 47 and had been doing 20+ pounds a day as an average for the last 10 days before the drench... after drench... well lets just say she was back up in the 50 + # a day and at day 47 her age wouldnt let her stretch that much...... i will post my day 20-30-40 info so you all can see.. she came out of the gate like a rocket i have never had to worry about getting a kin on mil fabric around day 10 before she did very well for me i guess.. she has some seeds in her that are drying already... oh ya you probably wana know her cross info... i selfed almost everything except my squash which has pollen on her from every kin in the patch... i have a saying for her just can not say here...lol.. more info to come soon. Tuesday, August 27 View Page patch update.. 1677 hunt still growing a nice looking kin aprox 600# .. 1674 marsh also still growing its a wheel aprox 600#.. 1221 faskell 12 uow still growing very slowly.. well this kin is more about genetics than size for me.. she will be orange and is crossed with my 1495 from home maybe about 500#.. and last but not least my 900 haist squash .. well after another tough squash season she is set and growing maybe about 150 #.... Tuesday, August 27 View Page oh ya i forgot to mention about the 1495 stelts... she is still growing and just plugging along.. she is wide tall and i believe to be day glo orange.... yes i said it day glo orange.. for being over day 60 her skin is smooth and shiny... so maybe her daily gains will continue for another 20 days or so and then we will have somthing to talk about... oh ya she is selfed also.. the heat we have had has not really kicked her into high gear she has pretty much maintained her daily gains on a flat curve i just hope she holds... the true test will come in 10 more days or so.... every day we get closer and closer to my goal....... grow baby grow....
