It's 8 days old, about 8 3/16" inches long. Not the best shape in the world, but not horrible. OTT about 46"

This one has a better shape, and looks like it might overtake it's older brother in length. Here it's 6 days old, and 6" long. No OTT measure yet.

What started out as a little yellow nodule has become a rather unpleasant looking nickel-sized problem, perhaps disaster. Will the melon have to go?

Blossom end rot really did a number on most of the almost all of the older melons. With those culled and new babies growing, we're coming to the restart. I think "cautiously optimistic" describes the situation at the moment.
