I guess I should say this is my control pumpkin lol. It was a store bought dill atlanic giant seeds, of the 5 Ive only had one grow. Im not adding anything to the soil. The only thing I did was dig the hole then backfill it back in. Ill be posting my pumpkin pics asap. Being my first year I still have high hopes in atleast getting a fruit. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Enjoy your season all

This was Sunday April 18th and my most current picture. We have had no rain at all so I have been watering it every other day. I try to saturated the whole mound attempting to get the earth way undthe plant soft so the roots will take off. Like I said I have no idea what Im doing. I will keep this updated every few days. Thanks for looking

Tradgedy strikes or maybe a blessing only time will tell. 3 days of heavy heavy rain and strong winds have pushed my plant over about 30 degrees, and it seems a change in color of some of the newer leaves to a yellow... The only plus is that it was pushed in the direction of what I think is going to be the main vine. Learning experience for next year. Plant it deeper, and use a real wind block. Wish me luck that the the root structure is not too torn up. Maybe it will be ok, only time will tell
