Monday, April 16 View Page Well..running a little late with the start of my diary but here it is and i want to start out by wishing everyone a healthy and fun 2012 season and may us all beat our personal bests!! being warmer this year has helped me get a jump on the tilling and ammending of the patch and the gardens. doubled the size of the vegetable garden this year to 30 x 40 and the location where the melon patch was going to be is going to be a field pumpkin patch for this year and i can work on the new area for the melons. The AG patch was resized on the length so this year i will be growing 3 AG plants and 1 Green squash plant. pic is of the patch looking down southward...will be ready for coldframes this week. Both plants are doing super great and are both out at 3 feet now...Think were on to something with this 922???early prediction??? Monday, July 9 View Page Day 15 for the 1622 young fruit....which was yesterday june 8th. Little mister man here was at 43.5 circ. Been super hot here like everywhere else and i gots some aborts goin on at other plants so hopefully i don't have to put all my eggss into one basket but we will see!!!!Also reinstalled the vine sling from last year which worked great at keepin the stem nice and straight with no stress on it.!!!GREAT IDEA CARLSON!!! Monday, July 9 View Page The 1622 young plant is the biggest in the patch this year with the 922 mohr plants in a close 2nd and 3rd. This is the green steam behind the 1622 young fruit...let's hope it is enough to hit a new personal best this year!! Saturday, October 20 View Page Havent posted in a while but have been watching everyones season progress. My patch went south on me and sucumbed to the bad heat and everything started aborting on me including the 3 sets that i did have which was a total bummer...what can you do though..you have to take the good seasons with the bad and i will definitely be back strong next year as i have gotten good prep work done in the patch and getting it ready for the winter...now it is time to start the seed hunt for 2013!!
