we are anxious for the season to start. Cant wait to put every thing we learned in Las vegas and at the OVGPG seminar to use. So we are starting our diary a little early. This is our line up for 2013. 1623.5 wallace 1775 starr 1770 lieber 1676.5 daletas 1725 harp 1730.5 werner 1807.5 stelts 1608.5 brady 1596 werner 1592 platte 1495 stelts 688 brady this one. i think has a lot of potential. we lost it and the pollinater plant early. so i have to give it a chance. the cross is 1807 stelts x 1818 bryson.

In the germination chamber we have, 1592 Platte x 3,1596 Werner x 2, 1495 Stelts, 688 Brady x 3, 1419 Brady, and 1324 Brady and they should be up in a day or two.

most ammendments have been added and hoops on for 2 weeks now. soil temp 6-8 deep was 70 degrees, but it might not stay that way because the temps outside have only been in the 50's the last 2 days. winter rye is about 3 inches high. will add the rest of the ammendments just before we remove the hoops and till the rye under at the end of may.

entry for ammendments added should be april 21 not may 21.

and then slowly gets worse. It started over memorial day weekend. At first I thought it was due to cold weather, but warmer weather didn't change it. Then I sprayed it with Epsom salt and that didn't help either. any opinions would be greatly appreciated

1676 Daletas, not pollinated yet, We have 4 plants in new spots that are way behind the plants in the main patch and unfortunately this is one of them. The other 3 are the 1775 Starr, 1770 Lieber, and 1730 Werner. Waiting for results from tissue test and hopefully we can fix it.

1623 Wallace my guess is yellow vine disease. did a soil drench for disease 1 week ago and lost 3 plants since. if this keeps up we might be growing mustard.
