I have searched all over, high and low and have located a few packets of "Melonie" cucumber seeds that a grandmother in the U.K. set the world record for the longest cucumber in 2010. I have 4 extra packets that I am willing to sell if anyone is interested @ 5.00 each to cover costs plus minimal shipping charge. I will offer them on ebay but am stopping here first to see if anyone is interested. Send me an email...expiry date is end of 2012 and packets are hermetically sealed with about 10-12 seeds in the one I opened.

4 pumpkin seeds starting to emerge. I did not file them, I did not soak them, but I put them on a heating pad (although I doubt the heat got as far as the seeds). Also, these are 2010 seeds from my est. 1200 pounder. I have already put these seeds in bigger containers with pro-mix.

Just for fun.... I put some hull-less popcorn in the soil to see just how hard it would be to germinate and surprise! it wasn't hard at all. Pondering whether to grow some or to just buy it and skip all the work.

I was hoping for a scarier pumpkin...oh well. I used a makita angle grinder-10 amp with a large wire cup brush. Had to change my pants twice, hope the yellow comes out. Sure makes for a quick job...and a couple electrical shocks to boot.
