Ice candles-take a gallon ice cream bucket or 5 gallon bucket, fill with water, let sit over night in freezing weather, time depends on temp and size of container, add food coloring if you want. The next day, alow to warm up for a hour or so, tip over, slide out, top and sides will be a couple inchs thick, bottom will not have much ice, if any at all, drain remaining water, put in candle. Things to do when your bored in MN.

Us Pumpkin heads grow other fruits, vegetables! tomato's are up, peppers starting. I used those add water to pellets and they expand, worked good for me.

I got the pepper seeds, and for about the third time I made the same mistake. I tasted the serpent pepper and thought "wow" I think I finnaly found the hot pepper I like, planted it, then went and used the bathroom with out washing my hands, took five minutes, and I needed a cold bath, man I thought I was on fire, cold water did the trick, can't wait to try some of them if gemination goes well.

Decided to by a fine wine and roost my super genetic pumpkin seeds! JOKING!! I am in the Army Reserve's and I will be getting ready to deploy for Afganistan at the end of this month, after a month at Ft' Dix's. Thanks to The Wallace's and the Finder's for the seeds, I still have them. I did'nt want to plant them and leave half way thru the season once growing them.(I did not know I would be going when I asked) This year I am just growing my orange pumpkin, crossing more orange into it with the 923 Gerhardt. My wife just has to take the seeds out when I am gone, praying she has no problems. My peas, beans, corn, decrative gourds, halloween pumpkins, carrots, tomato's, peppers, flowers are all growing great. More people should try seaagri.com, 1 teaspoon to a gallon of water, mixed with your fertilizer and thats it, makes plants look better, healthier, taste better. Not a spokesman, I just like the product.

Not the 923 its the 921.5 gerhardt. The plant is 11 feet long now, waiting to pollinate!

Got my pollen filled flowers picked, waiting for the flower to open tomorrow, it is covered with baggie. Awesome storm last night, rolling thunder, it rolled and rolled and then wam, a lightening bolt that was deafening. We also had 5 inchs of rain with it.

Thinking about next year, looking at snowball, the orange 695Johnson from Benjis' diary, Anaid_something or other, don't know what that name means, that orange howard dill winner. War has changed, after growing up with my father being in ww2 and brothers in vietnam, here I am in Afghanistan, and I have internet, (you can buy here) I feel like a spoiled baby. Not my idea of being at war after listening to storys from my Dad and brothers, but it sure is nice!

Can't wait to get out of Afghanistan! it is dusty! I am close to a mile and a half high, lot of mountains! they have snow but not as cold as MN! You really appreciate doing nothing back in the USA after leaving here (I have been threw this before)you really appreciate America. They have some really nice scenic mountains here, there govt. should stop the war and get some tourism going! on top of some mountains are old forts from alexander the great. They are the number one producer of opium, and cannabis/pot is way up there to!

11 Health Benefits of Pumpkin Seeds by Charlie Pulsipher Sunwarrior, 27 February 2013 Pumpkins are rich in beta carotene and can be used in more ways than just making a seasonal pie. Pumpkin can be used in breads, soups, granola, salads, waffles, guacamole, and much more. Dont forget the seeds though; pumpkin seeds are packed with nutrition. Natural Anti-Parasitic Pumpkin seeds have been used to treat parasites for thousands of years in ancient China. Pumpkin seeds help the body expel parasites, especially tapeworms and round worms. These seeds also have antifungal and antiviral properties. Prostate Health Pumpkin seeds contain phytosterols that protect the prostrate, along with compounds that lower the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone. Bladder Problems Incontinence, frequent urination, and overactive bladders affect the lives of many people, especially as we age. Pumpkin seeds naturally alleviate many of these symptoms. Kidney Stones Several studies show that eating pumpkin seeds as a snack helps prevent a couple types of common kidney stones by removing substances that encourage their formation.

Have you noticed that not only do the heavy hitters always grow heavy, they pick seeds that always do good. Unknown seeds they pick and seem to produce heavy! makes me think there is a lot more to having good soil.
