It broke soil on 5/5, and I planted it outside on 5/13. Monday, May 20 View Page Planted two 928 Box seeds from 2010 on 5/5. They both broke soil on 5/9, and were planted outside on 5/13. Monday, May 20 View Page I kept the biggest Box plant, because the smaller one was growing much slower. Today we had heavy wind gusts. The hoop house got knocked over, and the plant sustained a split above the ground. Monday, May 20 View Page This was going to be my main plant due to how fast it was growing, but now I am not so sure. I am going to wait to see what happens once it starts to vine. Thursday, May 23 View Page The winds, and rain were horrible today. The rain must have softened the ground a lot, because the stakes were ripped out of the ground. They are all a least a foot into the ground. Needless to say the hoop houses went flying. One plant is thrashed, and the other two look very haggard. Will have to wait a few days to see what action needs to be taken. Tuesday, May 28 View Page Started 6 of the Supernatural Rootstock seeds to attempt to graft to 6 of my 3.308 Diaz seeds from 2010. If these first 6 fail I will try 6 more. Tuesday, May 28 View Page Here are the seeds plus some of my regular competition seeds for this year. I will be planting some more in a few weeks. Friday, June 14 View Page Took the hoop houses off of the pumpkins on 6/13/2013. Also, made my first 5 attempts at grafting tomatoes. I will start some more seeds to try again on Sunday. Monday, September 16 View Page My only tomato of the season weighed in at 4.104 lbs. I grew it off of my 3.308 lb. tomato from a few years back. I will post some more pictures once it reddens up.
