Here is what I used to till this year. It was awesome to use and it went down very deep. Like most years it was cold in May and very hot in July. No rain for three weeks and 5 straight days of 100. Anyway my plants are doing fine and I should have some nice orange carvers in October

I have planted so much stuff this year it's hard to remember it all.

Yes it is possible to plant sweet corn and indian corn close to each other. I planted the sweet corn about 3 weeks before the indian corn and the sweet corn matures much earlier than the indian corn does.

Been a long time since I updated. Its was a tough year with extreme temperatures and little rain. Most of my earlier pollinations didn't make it. This is a 770 Veader- around 500lbs and about 38 days old. Nice color on this one.

Another 673Lawrence X 1689Jutras cross at day 37 around 450lbs. The nice thing about growing orange is that if you don't get the weight your still left with a pretty pumpkin.

This is the 770 Veader around 550lbs. I had to cut it off due to some severe stem splits. I took it to a local community show to display.

I like the color on the 770 Veader and will give it another shot next year. This pumpkin was a late pollination and only 51 days old.
