Could be the worse spring ever... State Fair greenhouse gets shreded by continuous winds, 785* Vincent falls over dead, state fair plants showing signs of 2,4-D damage and nothing but rain and 50's for almost 2 weeks...

1375 Liggett in the back. Nothing in the front, all my squash bought the farm (785* Vincent, 1177* Haist, 523* Crosby). :-( I guess I won't grow green in '010.

Thanks to my buddy Andy for hooking me up with all the manure I could transport and to Roger for letting me borrow his dump trailer. I applied approximately 6 yards of completely composted cattle manure and 27 yards of semi broken down cow manure to the patch. For 2011 I will be going with much larger plants 40 long x 30 wide and only 3 fall plants.
